On the 6th and 7th of February 2023, WASSU GAMBIA KAFO organized a two-day International Forum on gender-based violence and harmful traditional practices at the International Conference Center, Bijilo, The Gambia. The theme for this year is “Transferring Knowledge To Transform Gender Norms”. The forum aimed to raise awareness of the combat against FGM in The Gambia and Africa at large, and for participants to share experiences and build networks.
